Trouble is i get people half half my age moaning at me to sit down Omega Man even when I stand up quite high up at away games and EVEN when there empty seats lower down ffs Pointed it out one day to a couple of fans at one game only to be told they had paid for THAT SEAT and were not going to move You can guess what my reply was. I would have moved higher if I was low down as I usually do.
I would not go that ground even if we were favorites to win. All that is bad about watching football is at the ground, much worse than Analfield or Man Utd. It also attracts many of our own expat snowflakes living down there who have gone native. Go, tick off the list, get out and never again.
When replying to a post which quotes another post, it should multi-quote so people understand the context of the reply. Just 'Tom' made sense with both quotes, as the original comment mentioned Huddlestone.
I know not to go again city man Another one off the list for the juniors who like me thought it was crap.
The trouble is scar that peoples expectations are different. To be honest I do not think it makes any difference other than my legs ache
It must have been awful in big crowds like that. Makes you wonder why all those people went. A lot had been to the pub and most smoked. It would have been unbearable for you.
Same here with legs and stuff Omega man But I have a bag full of various pills I take with me to every game
If I couldnt stand I doubt if I would bother going Castro. Its a big part of the day for me and always has been Standing. Singing / Shouting the more that join in the better. Was good to have most of the East Stand join in with the north stand v Liverpool Fingers crossed we thump burnley and the volume increases more
I once was at Celtic v Rangers the year before the Ibrox disaster. Not a pleasant experience. Supporters were bringing in cases of lager (first time I had seen lager in cans) + with bottles of whisky in their pockets. As the match progressed those around me did not nip to the bogs but just pissed were they were + some even filled up the cans + tossed them forward into the crowd. Now that was an extreme experience + they were Scots, but are you saying you want to go back to those good old days!
No one said that archtiger The club could help with the simple question of Higher or Lower when selling tickets With everyone realising higher is for standing and lower is for sitting
Did Filey say that he "meekly sat there"? You weren't there but arrogantly categorised every City fan who did attend based on a few televised glimpses of the away end. Wrongly.
