Liverpool have not done quite so well but are still in the EL places so you really should be worried that next season you could have more games to play.

You just talked it up to imagine you'd been making progress all this time

 

So when you were 1st and we were 6th there was only ever a 3 point gap

 

Interesting that you use that as the benchmark

Not, for example, when you were 3rd, we were 11th, and you had a 5 point gap on us

 

Maybe because more games had been played?
Like the present, where a lot more games have been played and there is only 1 place and 1 point between us, it looks like 1 is staying still while the other is dropping to meet and probably pass them.

 

So even when we go on one of our worst runs of the century and you are unbeaten in 16, we're still comfortably a point and a significant GD above you

Imagine how big our gap over you will be next season when we invest in CL players

You do know that a players cost is based on how much a team wants to keep him and how much others want him, it has very little to do with ability hence the cost of players like Can, Carroll, Stones, Stirling etc.

Imagine how good Coutinho would be if you had paid twice as much for him
