As a father of two, I can tell you for a fact that stamina is not needed, just a push in the right direction <whistle>

You need to read about the birds and the bees... the creation will be in February this year - no European games then.

Is it weird that I would rather listen to pochettino speak Spanish than puel speak English? (no offence Claude)

For those itching for the 90 minutes, I can only find highlights at present. If you can stand the co-commentator making Saints 'the opposition' again: http://www.fullmatchesandshows.com/2017/02/11/sunderland-vs-southampton-highlights-2/

Gabbiadini's 2nd is a superb turn and finish, and the co-commentator's analysis was that the Sunderland defender should have done better. Sometimes pundits ought to shut up until they have something intelligent to say.

Manolo Gabbiadini really did well as a new signing, even Dusan Tadic praised him.

Isn't football far more exciting when you have someone up top who not only knows how to score, but also moves into dangerous positions. Fun day.

Just been listening to Radio 5 live match coverage [of ManU v Watford, I cut to Saints goalscoring announcements] and Shane Long's goal was described as a 'tap-in' by the local reporter of the game. Have some of these people ever played football.? Long's finish was excellent. He made it look very easy.

It's what we've been calling for since the start of the season. No disrespect to Charlie Austin [really, no disrespect], but Manolo is a proper all-round footballer with a bit of pace, dazzling technique, some vision, brains and he can finish. Charlie has the last three attributes. It shouldn't be a surprise if Manolo and Dusan get a real partnership going.

I was a bit concerned about Barry settling in. But the fact he has shown a lot of understanding on the pitch really & got off to a flying start, well that will make his new surroundings a lot easier. I literally cannot wait to see VvD on the same pitch as him, like a kid at xmas!
