    Probably the best result of the season. It could have gone wrong at Sunderland but it appears that the 4-0 victory flattered the hosts. Good to see the front line functioning so well. Up two places and on 30 points. Given the results today, I can't see us getting involved in a relegation scrap now.

    The 1st 15/20 minutes i thought sunderland were looking ok but they just got ****ter and ****ter as the game went on.good work saints.we look good when we play nice and direct

    Pienaar is so far past it. Bringing him on just HT effectively was just Moyes reducing his own side down to ten men, leaving them a man short at the back in the process. I'm not overly convinced about his strategy of trying to put together his Everton side from the late 2000s.

    Even if so I'd be tempted yeah. Sounds like Tadic played well today and I think Boufal could be a good sub for both situations: need a goal or have a lead to play on break with.

    We haven't dominated anyone like this for a while. But we also haven't played against such a poor team as Sunderland for a while. Surely they can't stay up this season?
