Class from Jeff stelling , just read out that he has apologised , and then said I presume his apology for not sending Gibbs off will come later ..
If the officials had done their job it would have been 0-0 with us against 10 men .. totally different game .. they're paid to make decisions.. doesn't help us when they say fkn sorry .. it's just bollox.
Have to agree, but what was Jak doing? However we were pushing for the equaliser and left ourselves exposed. However should never have been a first goal, and Gibbs should have been off.
Wenger never sees anything he doesn't like. It's a classic interview line of his when there's a dodgy decision that goes his way.
The replay shows it as plain as day that the linesman had a clear unobstructed view .. bottleless fkrs
Goal should have been ruled out. Not 100 percent sure about Gibbs - could have gone either way Clucas sending off was correct
for me it's about the distance the ball travels, the first it travels a few feet at speed after being deflected and suprises Sanchez who didn't have time to pull his arm away, momentum and all that. As I said, i wouldn't be happy about it going against west ham, but I can see why it was allowed to stand, and can easily have seen it being disallowed too, that is why it's your luck that will decide your fate. The 2nd is clear cut from the camera behind the goal, blatant handball, though I always think a yellow and a pen is enough punishment, as you haven't really prevented a goal-scoring chance as the penalty you give away is almost as good a goal scoring chance as you can get. Of course, if it had been against Watford or Bournemouth...
Difficult for the ref to see it. He did consult the linesman so more blame should be attached to the linesman who had a clear view. No complaints with the Clucas one. The Gibson one was diabolical. If the sake had happened to an Arsenal forward it would have been a red, he had no intention of playing the ball, just taking the our player out who would have been away on a one to one on the keeper if he had the chance to control the ball.
I cringed when Gibbs said 'Mark' said it was going away from goal. An automated respone from a ref I thought better of. No bollocks like the rest of them.
Have to say if we keep playing like this we should be safe. Really impressed with Markovic today as well as N'diaye, dare I said it he is an improvement on Jake IMO. Niasse was good again playing the loan striker, against lesser teams he will score goals.
So now we're allowed to slap the ball in the net with our hand .. oh and body slams are also allowed when your the last man to prevent goal scoring opportunities .. thanks for updating me on the rule changes .. plank
