i have no problem with the penalty for it being a goal scoring chance , but there was no intend ,non whatsoever , yet we lose him for 1 game ? is it ?

 

And get some heading practice in while they are at it. Can combine the two.

I'm more pissed off about the professional foul than the hand of Sanchez. I agree with bcc about the goal.

1-0 down with an extra man for half an hour and I reckon we could have got something there.

Almost feel that the Jak got Clucas sent off there but still encouraging signs out there. Best game from Markovic and now we move into some winnable games.

 

It's a shame the loss came the way it did because, for most parts of the game, we were excellent. A tale of two hands.

At first I thought it was a harsh penalty as I didn't think there was any and he was trying to move his arm away, but then I saw the replay from a different angle, behind the goal, and you can see he quite blatantly moves his arm toward the ball.
Completely different from what happened for the first goal

 

Yeh Clucas did all he could, can't fault him in any way. Jak can be over aggressive, but I'd take that over the passive Marshall any day. He gives confidence to the defence as he is willing to take responsibility.

 

Where's the criticism of Jak for his part in that?

So the linesmen & referee got together at half time to read the book on what handball is.
Didn't read the section on clear goal scoring opportunity though.
Can't blame everything on piss poor refereeing but it's cost us today.
The next few games were always going to be the games we were looking at picking up more points than the run of games we just had.
Doesn't make it any easier when we lose like that!

 

Cannot believe what I Just heard... Gibbs in his interview said 'Mark'.. didnt send me off because he thought the ball was going AWAY from goal!!!!!!!!

 

Absolutely fkn fuming .. Chelski robbed us with dodgy refereeing decisions and now today .. big team bias is a fkn joke .. it's every time .. seems they frightened to death of giving anything against the so called big clubs .. ****ers .. on the plus side this city team is not going down .. just need to improve the final ball and we're in business.. Markovic and Grositski looked the part .. N'Diaye again good game .. Niasse will get better and sharper with more games .. despite the ****ty refereeing am still proud of how they handled themselves today
