We did well against Spurs and murdered a poor team last week so why not go for a win especially as they are CB-less? We are coming together nicely now and our midfield is doing a much better job, and if confidence is not high now then it bloody well ought to be.

 

Going for a 2-0 win!

Think most of their team will be focused on the final, they have defensive worries and no Boufal. Should do well imo

 

We need to get at them from the first whistle, they're fragile as **** at the minute.

Early goal would be brilliant.

Well I went to the Bindippers match expecting to get hammered. The lads played great and deserved the point.
Went to Spurs match expecting to get hammered. The lads played well again and deserved the point.

There has been 4 pens in the last 5 games againist Southampton so get your cash on a pen today.

They have lost at Swansea, hull and palace so hopefully we beat them to. Be a shame if we don't.

 

There's never a reliable way of predicting results but we seem to be on the up and they're on the way down so that suggests a good chance of a home win. I think our lads will be up for it and as long as we don't concede early or Southampton don't play like geniuses out of the blue then we'll push on and take the points.

Can't believe we 3/1 to win at home to ****ing Southampton pal. I hate backing Sunderland but the price is to good to turn down. You get very good odds on us scoring 4.

Good thread indeed RTB - as I see it our match winner could well be a motivated emotional Januzaj who seems to relish supporting Defoe. I hope for his undoubted magical skills undoing their fragile defence. Also cold wet and miserable weather today another big factor for us -Gabbiadini will not fancy this. But I could be totally off the mark here - we all know we tend to build us up to let us down - KTF
