I might agree. I also wouldn't thump anyone that decided to do that too. I wasn't too happy with people who booed Rafa when he was at Chelsea. Not exactly productive, especially since, in his case, we knew from Day one he was on a short term contract and would be leaving at the end of the season, didnt really make much sense.
I think it's just a case of passion spilling over, pretty silly to be fair and I bet in the cold light of day most of those getting involved would be ashamed of themselves. But at least they are passionate about the future of the club. I'd rather fans like that were at the ground, whether they are Wenger in or out, than the hordes of tourists, corporates and prawn sarnie brigade.
to be fair to the wenger out brigade (well DT, Claude etc), if Wenger announced he was going to leave at the end of the season, they said they would support him knowing he was going and that he was a legend. The abuse and booing has come about because frankly because the board will always be happy as long as Wenger tows the party line (finances) and keeps getting them top 4. Without the booing, Wenger wouldn't properly assess himself and potentially leave (i reckon he will go after the abuse). DT is passionate, he's alright. TY is admiral but a nob. Obviously he's alright cause him and Claude always make up My favourites are Claude and Lee. Especially the second video, turning some poor guys abuse into some football banter point scoring. Plus he was 100% wrong also. As has now been proven. Whats happening at Arsenal is nothing to do with Spurs, HIAG. How have Spurs knocked them off anything, you haven't finished above them in like 30 years!?
It's classic small club mentality. Constantly trying to compare yourself to your bigger, better and more successful neighbours and inevitably always coming up short. If and when Spurs can consistently finish above Arsenal, win the league and maintain their position at the top, then and only then can they claim any kind of power shift. Until then Gooners are just going brush off the rambling bollocks that we've been hearing from them for the last two decades.
