Good Morning Everyone, It is alleged that in or around the 89th minute of the fixture between Huddersfield and Leeds, the two clubs failed to ensure their players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour, contrary to FA Rule E20(a). Both managers have also been charged in relation to the same game. Huddersfield’s David Wagner is subject to two alleged breaches of FA Rule E3 in that in or around the 89th minute, his behaviour in entering the field of play amounted to improper conduct. It is further alleged his behaviour upon his return to the vicinity of the technical area amounted to improper conduct. It is alleged that Leeds’ Garry Monk breached FA Rule E3 in that in or around the 89th minute, his behaviour amounted to improper conduct. All parties have until 6pm on 10 February 2017 to respond to the charges. I don't know about you lot, but I didn't see anything The Sun claims that Leeds manager Gary Monk is a fan of Ryan Kent and is prepared to offer £2.5million to the Reds in the summer for the services of the 20-year-old. The young winger is currently playing for Championship side Barnsley, and that is how he supposedly caught Monk’s eye. He has been a regular member of the Tykes’ starting eleven this season and has made 27 starts in the league. He has scored two goals and provided one assist in the league for the Tykes. HUDDERSFIELD TOWN have banned "indefinitely" a 59-year-old man seen taunting Leeds United fans with a Turkish flag during Sunday's West Yorkshire derby. Police confirmed on Sunday that a man was ejected from the John Smith’s Stadium and Huddersfield have placed an 'indefinite' ban on the 59-year-old.
Morning all, Elland your post doesn't say which Liverpool player, I take it this is Ryan Kent? http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/02/0...nequivocally-backs-leeds-garry-monk-he-shoul/ Former ref gives Monk his backing puts the blame on Wagner and 4th official.
Morning all. Can't see why Liverpool would be selling promising players. It's not as if they have any at the club. I suspect who we'll be bidding for will depend on what division we're camped in next season. As for a 59 year old unfurling a Turkish flag, makes you wonder what other acts a gobshite like that has done for the previous 58 years. A great advertisement for durex id say but not sure if they were around six decades back
Much of our squad for next season depends on which league we're in, so not going to even think about new players until the end of the season. This season concerns me and we need to ensure we pick up all 6 points from next 2 games as a priority. looking at the fixtures we have a big advantage now as we play top 6 clubs less than the rest, so hopefully all dropping points. Wonder what the team will look like as I see both newbies starting next game. Big Al will scare defenders to death and he will win us loads of penalties, just hoping he has a great ball delivery into the box too. We may see a better version of Sako too with Mo
Morning all. How sad is it that a 58 year old man thought it was a good idea to do that? Feel for any offspring he has. What a role model for young puppies! As for the charges, yes we were guilty of losing control of the players so should accept a slap on the wrist for that but Monk should get away with his charge while Wagner should have the book thrown at him. It was good actions which caused both clubs to lose control of their players and staff. He caused the whole thing so should carry the appropriate blame.
The sad thing about the 58 year old bloke, is that he was around when Chris & mate were stabbed. He will know full well what happened as it was huge news for months in Yorkshire especially with trials etc. so blokes a cnut no 2 ways about it
Morning all If Kent is coming then I can imagine Doukara is going as the kid can play as a winger and a striker. I didn't know about the Turkish flag incident till yesterday. The man is an idiot and there's nothing else to say. I bet his kids are so embarrassed by him as well.
Afternoon.... er sorry, morning all. As has been said already, more incomers will depend on which division we're in next season, and how close to the PL we really got if we didn't win the playoffs.
Slightly off topic but Tim Cahill, who currently plays for Melbourne City, was red carded at the week end even before he went on the pitch. There had been some trouble over an off-side/not off-side goal. Cahill apparently said something to the ref who promptly showed him a red card as he was about to be subbed on. Didn't know that could happen.
