The whole 'club ambition' argument is sort of chicken and the egg for me...he comes out for months saying he's potentially interested in moving on because the club isn't good enough, and when players are saying that, why would good players be enticed to come play? I recognise the relative lack of spending this summer supports that claim, but still, the unsettled players can't expect a world of squad improvement if their scepticism is doing rounds in the media before the window even opened.

I'm not saying if all of the players came out publicly saying they thought the club was on the up we would have landed Gamerio and co. this summer, but their lack of confidence in their own teammates' abilities certainly doesn't help achieve what they say they want for Newcastle United. Everyone points to Carroll's exit as the turning point, but that blame rests on his shoulders, and who knows what would have happened if he hadn't given in to the poundsigns.

Oh, and wouldn't boo Jose, nor would I applaud either.
I also don't think he's going to go straight into the Spanish squad like some have said, Capello isn't the Spanish manager and picks a player just because a 'big club' deemed them quality

I think some fans got so used to booing the ****s that deserted us after relegation that they boo basically every former player now haha. I wouldn't boo Enrique no, but then only Mrs Kopletski downstairs would hear it anyway.

 

I think he will get booed but not personally by me. He left us to further his career while Carroll left for money, hence I will boo him.
