Howay lads it's not all doom & gloom, yeah Nolan's off to play against Doncaster & Brighton next season but life's not all bad. Let's cheer ourselves up and look at some positives.

    1. Cabaye - looks quality, really excited to see him next season, probably one of the reasons Nolan jumped ship is Cabaye will keep him out the 1st team

    2. Hatem Ben Arfa - will be like having a new signing, also looked quality from what we saw of him last season.

    3. Money - we've got a decent budget to spend on new talent, the clubs in the black and we're one of only 4 (i think) Prem clubs to actually make money last season

    4. Villa - We're not Villa fans, we don't have to gather up our inbred sprogs and march down to the ground to protest against bringing in a manager who got our biggest rivals relegated last season.

    5. New signings - I for one am excited about the standard of the guys we've been linked with, will be a thrilling season ahead.

    6. Muckums - With their best performers last season all being loan signings their side is looking in a lot worse state than us, going to need a fair few players to be anywhere near as good as us next season.

    7. Joey B - love him, hate him? His backtracking on SSN after his twitter rants was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

    8. Shane Ferguson/other young players - we've got some really talented young guys coming through the ranks. Ferguson is going to be a really great player from the glimpes of brilliance we've seen from him this season just gone.

    9. Us - still the best and fanatical fans in the world. They call us deluded but we KNOW we're a big club, great stadium, high attendances. A sleeping giant. When new financial rules kick in we'll be perfectly placed to return to Europen football.

    10. Tea - my PA just bought me tea & biccies, all is good in the world. (Not really footie related but she is wearing quite a low cut top) <ok>

When you interviewed her was it like that awkward scene in the office when he interviews a male and female for the PA job? Slicking back his hair and sitting too close?

years ago my boss said i could have a PA.............he then turns up with 3 blokes to interview
they were all useless i told him as they couldn't understand my accent (nice to see i was abroad but the interview had to be done in english)
hoping he would then relent and turn up with some lasses
he didnt so i had to pick so i went for the bloke who's dad owned a chinese restaurant round the corner, he was crap at the job, but the food and the discount was cracking

No I have other names for the Missus.

Little concerned how everyone fixated on the PA bit (that's my job) and not the other 9 reasons life as a Toon fan isn't as bad as the doomongers would have us believe <laugh>

Your far too positive for a Newcastle fan your supporting the wrong club here. It's all doom and gloom and every decision made is to the detriment of the club on purpose because Mike Ashley really wants to run it into the ground despite having 300 million of investment tied up in it.
