I watched the first series and liked it, but the missus wasn't so keen (a bit slow and dark for her), so I've not yet managed to get started on the second one.
I enjoyed the first series. Wasn't totally captivated by the start of series 2 but going to stick with it for at least one more episode.
In the absence of movie time, we've been watching some TV and Homeland is back and as good as ever. Also enjoying The Halcyon. Some good TV coming up, too.
Watched the Fundamentals of Caring last night on Netflix Paul Rudd as a divorced bloke getting a job as a carer for a teenage lad in a wheelchair. He takes him on a road trip, and they pick up a hitchhiker (Selena Gomez) Really quite funny
We're watching Halcyon now, really well put togethet, excellent acting and wonderful costume. We have just had a panic when we realised we haven't recorded Apple Tree Yard - my fault, obviously! You're right, it's excellent.
I haven't seen this mentioned, but Common Sense (BBC 2, 10pm). A 30min programme, tomorrow is 5 of 6. It is totally brilliant; the 3 pensioners from Hull are comedy gold, just as they all are. Watch 2 episodes and you're hooked, honest.
Similar vein, The Intouchables. Brilliant. Right at the end of this clip. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1675434/
Money Monster starring George Clooney, not bad but the surprise, well to me, was that it was directed by Jodie Foster, I didn't realise that she was a film director.
