Has Willie really got one called Clitandre in the bumper? <yikes>

Two pertemps qualifiers today - let's go for the double for a bit of a Sunday challenge.

I'll accept that challenge. Arthurs Secret at Musselburgh and Sutton Manor at Punchy would be where my pin lands. Good luck all.

I've just realised the one at Musselburgh isn't a qualifier for the final but who cares <laugh>

    Musselburgh - Clondaw Kaempfer
    Punchestown - Glenloe

Singles are hard enough, but a double is tough, but I'm working on it! :emoticon-0100-smile

(See in the first at Taunton there's one going by the name of Engaging Smile**. Now that is a truly delightful name for a mare, wouldn't you say?).

**Just noticed she's trained by a Mr. James Moon (never heard of him, but could be a relation of our very own Mr. QuarterMoonII?), and owned by a Mrs. Anne Moon. Also, see she's been tipped by Ebor of the York newspaper "The Press"! Maybe a bob or two e/w on it then, even though she seems to be sprint/middle-distance-bred?

Good grief, 100/1 in a few places! <yikes>

I love Taglietelle, landed nice e/w bets on him at the last 2 festivals.

Elliot will certainly be looking to get him qualified for the final today (he isn't yet qualified) but I think he'll be very happy with 4th or 5th and certainly wouldn't want to be winning off 148. He carried top weight in last year's final off a mark of 154 (2 lengths 4th to Mall Dini) and finished 4th in the Coral Cup off 140 a year earlier. After an abortive novice chase campaign I am sure they will want to go to the Pertemps final with him again this year and if they can qualify him today without going up in the weights they will be delighted.

Expect to see him swinging along on the bit off the final bend before plugging on at one pace to finish 4th or 5th ;)

    15:50 Taunton - Oscarteaa

(For myself will make it a couple of singles, and an e/w double)

I wonder whether Bruce Springsteen has had a cheeky dabble on My Hometown here?

Had to have a dabble on Clitandre at 9/4 here - the drift is undoubtedly a bad sign but 9/4 is too big to ignore

Any US football (?) fans around?

I have £149.77 lying in a PP account since Hennessy day and i'm not afraid to use it!

Don't punt with them anymore so brown stuff or cashout?

Thoughts guys?..straight win bet or any other bet.?..I think it's a great spectacle but my knowledge is remote.
