Not got long but wowzer congrats on the result. Did not foresee that! Wonder if PVA has anything to say about it? Enjoy! As if that's in doubt.
Cheers mate. What's the craic with your board? You won today but talking about us on your match day thread and even created another separate thread where you have all been putting money on us to stay up. I noticed ACS has put money on us to stay up as well. Is he back to supporting Sunderland again?
Chelsea v Arsenal Everton v Bournemouth Palace v Sunderland Hull v LIverpool Spurs v Boro Southampton v West Ham Watford v Burnley West Brom v Stoke ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Line up for MOTD
How huge is this result psychologically though? It shows we can Beat teams around us (comfortably) and score goals Win away from home Shove it up Big Sam Shove it up PVA
That's one big ****in win for you. Penny for PVA and Fat Sams thoughts. Adros probably ain't feeling so good about his choices tonight either. Where did that come from though? Don't think anyone can argue how pardewed Palace have been.
That first half was class and we got our reward for our efforts because we tried them and displayed guts, determination and ability. For me Larson set the scene with the cruncher on Cabaye that took him out of the game, and Oviedo had Zaha in his pocket the whole game so their football was crude. The players and Moyes have taken some stick of the past few days so what they did today was the perfect answer. Who knows, Moyes may know what he is doing.
Chelsea game was a cracker too, it lacked the competitive element maybe as Arsenal were well beaten, but it was real end to end stuff. Top goal from Hazard too, I liked the way he lifted it slightly, great composure.
He could have gone down for a free kick with just about each challenge on that run, it just shows that if a player has the goal in his sights nothing will stop them.
Master stroke by Moyes, sell a LB that was dodgy at defending and crossing the ball, then bring in one that can defend and put a cross in. Add a much needed body in midfield and pocket the change. I am starting to think Moyes knows what he is doing but it's taken him some time to get to know the players. If we can stay up I have a feeling this will be our last season fighting relegation. Southampton game is massive. Win that and I think it gives us a great chance.
Good to see a player dribbling past the opposition too, maybe it's just me but it feels like it's a skill that's dying out in favour of speed and strength.
Did you notice that Palace's CB (Dann?) went off with a pulled hamstring when cutting out a through ball for JD. When you feel even a tweak it is worth going off s not to aggravate it. Maybe the change was more preventative than serious.
