Do they support Spain or Brazil as their national team also? If you're gonna cherry pick your team you may as well go all the way? Because England haven't been that successful have they?
You think if there is that many fans in Hull supporting some of the big clubs then the cup game the other night would have been full to see the Manchester utd stars. I think tomorrow yes there will be some Liverpool fans in our end but I also think polish and some fans who haven't been for a while will be returning.
I've got a Polish mate and he's been going to City for a few years now, and he says our new Pole is very good. In fact, there were a couple of Polish City supporters stood in front of me at Fulham last Sunday joining in with the singing. It was quite funny hearing them singing 'we're ****ing ****' in a Polish accent.
you need to read the profile page, born and raised in Hull, I just happen to live in Pudsey, to be honest I don't follow your logic, to me Old Trafford and Anfield are full of supporters who were born all over the place except Manchester/Liverpool (even Pudsey), city are supported in the main by locals from Hull and East Riding with a sprinkling of exiles like myself. I live 80 miles(160 miles round trip) away and I would never dream of watching another team, even in the early 70's when I didn't have a car I got the bus or train back to Hull, you support the team in the city/area were you were born, end of story as far as I'm concerned.
I've been rumbled! Sheffield United v Blackburn Rovers was very interesting. Blackburn Rovers went in Shoreham Street - for a few minutes!
Not technically true. Usually your parents take you to your first game and that is it. I made the choice myself but then I was born in Hull. I knew a guy in Basingstoke and he supported City. One day I asked him why he supported City and he said he wanted to support a team and he chose Hull City. All credit to him he was as loyal as practically anybody I knew.
