Obviously you weren't too sure about JWP as you only wrote your view about him once. On the subject of Italians and style - if an Italian male doesn't look stylish, wait a while, he's just inventing a new style that has yet to catch on.
Good to see Hesketh training with the squad. I think he could do very well, and is probably the closest like for like player we have to Lallana.
https://southamptonfc.com/news/2017-02-03/video-claude-puel-pre-southampton-west-ham-premier-league Puel says that Gabby is being considered for a start or as a sub for this game, whereas our new GK is not quite fit (he mentioned that he needed some work, so not an injury). I tried to listen till the end....I really did, but I got distracted by the excitement of a blackbird hopping on my garden fence.
Just had a quick look, 30 minute wait , stuck at work ATM....will try as soon as I get home. Cheers for the tip Brendy.
But...but...so many people keep on saying that Tadic was signed to replace Lallana. And that, in fact, he's better than Lallana.
I think Tadic can be better than he has been this season. May be reasons for this....inc not being played in his best position...but a very good player would adapt.

I am getting Garibaldi biscuits to go with my afternoon tea to celebrate our new striker and I like tea and biscuits
Well he was signed to replace lallana but is no where near better than him. I've had this discussion with several people on here. As much as I wish he was better, he just isn't!
We have three draws and no wins in seven league matches played on Saturdays this year (plus a cup draw against Norwich, and the Arsenal thrashing). Might be a good time to change that.
Don't like squashed fly biscuits since my mother bought a whole tin of broken ones that we struggled to eat. She even warmed them up and served with custard, but us kids weren't fooled.
Agree. Horrible things that tasted like compressed dust with unappetising chewy bits. My mum never tried warming them up and trying to pass them off as pudding though, we'd have been taken into care for that type of parental cruelty. She kept buying them though...mystifying really
You must remember (well I can anyway) the advert jingle that went "Chiltonian Garibaldi, the finest in the shop". I never understood how they were allowed to state that.
