It's great to see a manager with the attitude of 'How do I win this game?' rather than 'How do we not get beat?'
Hindsight's a great gift, but fully agree with your comments , SB press conference's used to drive me mental at times, he'd spend ages putting the wind of Christ up the city squad by talking up the opposition, our lad's must have taken to the pitch on match days ****ting themselves fearing they were up against supermen, like wise he convinced the squad at times in his post match interviews that they were always tired, always thought he was too negative for his own good at time's.
It's great stuff. People often liked playing under Bruce because he obviously has that disarming, one of the boys personality. But you get the impression they like playing for Silva because they think "This guy knows his onions".
Agree , I never had much Faith in Phelan , but lost any ounce I had when before at home to WBA he proclaimed , we don't expect to see much of the ball ... Can't see Marco talking like that
Trying to convince myself we will get beat 3-0 , because that's when we usually do well .... I'm quietly confident at the moment , which worries me because that's when it usually goes wrong
Sadly, it looks like Klopp will be able to start his first choice XI for the first time in a while... please log in to view this image
MS is coming across fantastically well .. it's very obvious that the players have taken to him .. his backroom staff .. and his ethos .. and what is most impressive is his calm outlook at all times .. as a player that must set you at ease as well. The displays since he has taken over (Fulham aside) have shown how he wants to press and attack with precision and pace .. his signings bare that out .. it may be too late because of the damage he inherited but for me we have a rally chance of survival with this man at the helm.
Some interesting comments on the Liverpool board, it seems quite a few watched us against Chelsea and Man United... http://www.not606.com/threads/hull-v-liverpool-premier-league.342973/
Interesting that he said waiting for FIFA to ratify the Salibur deal.... not the FA... maybe he was confused.. but I don't think he does confused...!!!
