Interesting. It is possible that on the night when this agent was there the talk was that City had missed the deadline and that's what he's saying now. I remember hearing that Silva left the training ground around the time when Assam Allam turned up, so maybe he thought it was all over at that point too. Also news of the appeal didn't start until Thursday adding weight to the possibility that only then was it first mooted that technically enough of the paperwork had been sent. This might just be wishful thinking, but as Tigerite says; "But I have no idea how he can know about the signature for Salibur, unless he's HIS agent as well (seems unlikely)."
