I haven’t, at the moment, got any strong thoughts re the Supreme Novices at all. But an interesting stat re that heat is that since 2008 36 horses have filled the finishing positions 1-2-3-4 in that race and only ONE commenced its career on the Flat – that, of course, was the legendary Binocular. That’s quite a stat Melon has to overcome.

    Cheers Attivo.

This will be his last race before taking a well earned break so hopefully we will go out on a high.
He is perfectly drawn (provided he gets out on terms) and there is plenty of pace in the race so everything should be in his favour. Its a boys race so he has a new jockey in Paddy Bradley who has been down to ride him out. Hopefully he will have understood the do's and dont's regarding riding our lovely boy.
He is fit and as well as we can have him so expecting a big run. In the main its a pretty exposed bunch and I don't see too many to get unduly worried about.

Fantastic chance tomorrow Stick, I follow your lad because he is yours but were I not looking out for him and didn't know him from Adam (whoever Adam is) he is a stand out bet tomorrow, right grade, right trip, good draw and no unexposed horses, and so should Paddy Bradley make use of his stamina over a mile he really is the one to beat.

I would look to get stuck into the 8's on 365 which looks very big but have had my account limited to around £4 per bet so am waiting for a couple of others to price up, will be surprised if it goes off bigger than 5s.

    Good luck

Back into class 5 so has to have a decent chance. Hopefully get a nice strong gallop, tanks so should be ok keeping up and will get his gap at some point. A lot down to the jockey in these races - no pressure Paddy!!

All the best guys with Squire tomorrow, hope he runs his race for you and returns home safe and sound. Ayelya @ 14s, Clonmel, 3.00 will do for me for a midweek punt. Was running a fine race when hampered at the last lto which completely scuppered his chances. Hanlon/Blackmore combination.

Wincanton 15.45 Vic De Touzaine. On favoured heavy ground and with a long absence being the only thing keeping his price respectable, in Venetia I trust 11/2 B365
