There is a report on Sky transfer centre that aqualani's agent (yes him again ) has stated that the door is still open for the Italian to return to AC Milan BUT if not he will work hard to earn a place in the Liverpool side.Covering all his bases then.
How many statements has this guy given this summer and still he can't drum up enough interest to get a deal done.Think he should leave it alone and let Aqualani concentrate on Liverpool.Who knows if he has a good season then he might get his return to Italy which is obviously what they (he) want.

Aquilani's agent needs to shut up to be honest.

it's also annoying as all it does is give Aqua a bad rep. It's one thing to leak a story of a bust-up or something like that to affect transfer dealinga, but simply speculating on every club interested doesn't help his cause, as it only makes him look desperate. Personally i'm looking forward to him giving us a different option this season and helping us to points we would never have gotten otherwise, however i suspect after a small amount of game time he will get a late transfer to an Italian club, tis the way.

How much longer is the market open for? We realy need to put, what is quickly turning into a farse, to bed.

As i'v said probably 10 times on various threads, I want him to stay.

    B4F.
Thats what agents do in order to make money. Aquilanis agent wants a commission, Aquilani made noises previously that he didn't want to return, he wanted to stay in Italy and his agent and he has a right, is attempting to orchestrate a move in order to make a commission. I however don't think he will.

the guy is a complete muppet, i was going to start a thread on him as well and also knew as soon as i saw this title who it referred to, he even made a statement a few days back to confirm there was no new news FFS.
I think he is publicity crazy and should jack in being an agent and enter reality TV shows or something to satisfy his addiction.
Aqualani must stay especially if all we can get is less than £10mill, you couldn't buy a replacement as good for that

I have to say, though, if he was my agent I'd think at least he's getting the coverage. It's not his fault nobody's buying. Or maybe it is.

Why hasn't his Agent just given up by now?

Is he that desperate for Aquilani to move back to Italy, do they have some sort of Love affair going on?

    Agreed <ok>

Aquilani can be a massive player for us this season, and I hope he doesn't leave. Personally I think he's better than Meireles, Lucas, Spearing, Henderson and Adam. And with question marks still hanging over Stevie's fitness, I think it would be a mistake to sell Aqua.

There's the rub. Why hasn't he? It says to me a move is still preferable to club and player, though on better terms than was previously expected. I think his value in staying has clearly increased so FSG aren't as desperate to get him off the wage bill that they'll take a big hit on him.

It's not really the agent's fault if both sides still want the move. In that case he's doing all he can to keep the profile up.

I really hope he stays he could be the difference between 5th and 4th for example, maybe even 2nd and 1st!
