We got Alfred N'Diaye in as well as Grosicki and Ranocchia. But typical City of late ballsing up at least one signing by sloppiness or wilfulness.

Nah I'm counting them. We had for centre halves Daws H Curtis Livers to cover Bruce on his way back We've now got Daws (just back from injury, had a knock on Sunday) H (just back from injury) Ranocchia. Davies (out for two months after rushing him back from injury)
We have a better squad maybe (apart from that awkward part about scoring goals obvioulsy) but with injuries we definitely have a worse starting 11
