30 days hilts on a brighter note I think that he got the highlights out so he had time to do his hair.
To be fair, Firm ran in behind the defence twice in the first 10 minutes but the ball's from Hendo & someone else were just too heavy and skidded on the wet surface. Since then, hasn't tried running in behind once
Yup, just make the runs and take responsibility for your role. Firmino is not. Lallana is too deep and so is coutinho
Does he normally pull the opposition off? Surely that's a red card offence? Though perhaps we should all read the rules.
That's just you bring an idiot though, if you like someone they do no wrong if you dislike there nothing that changes your mind. Your fav Can went missing as soon as they scored, he's been chasing shadows since then, no idea how to get in the game.
Its a good distraction (I meant for the opposition, not Biscan) and was working a treat earlier in the season
2014 Sturridge is what we need right now. Of course we have discussed him to death on here and it does look like he's not going back to that, but that's the player we need. Gets the ball and wants to drive forward, not "make a fancy pass sideways", not "think tactically, who shall I pass to, will it be Coutinho, or perhaps Em- oh they've caught up? Better pass back". Someone needs to step up and that someone is Coutinho, he's making the stepovers, he's turning defenders, but everyone around is BEHIND him. So what? When he hits the wall we've made no progress. I hate single striker systems and think that this is where they are found out. A solid defense and you're set. Now is when you switch to a 4-4-2 diamond and play Hendo at DM (not his best position but he's mopping up a lot today, and playing from deep, so it's the same for this match). Emre and Wijnaldum in front of him, with Coutinho the most advanced. Take Lallana off, sub Origi/Sturridge on and partner him with Firmino as two strikers running forward at any given point. It will slow down play a little and the defensive players will have to stay back a little more, but it could break down the monotony of our play. Completely armchair though, but it's what I'd do.
True...but its 2 **** ups really...he sets the wall completely wrong despite having donkeys to do it..then decides to keep organising after the whistle is blown...brainless. You are right ...we've a captain who loses his composure and the guy beside him I bet if you hooked him up to a monitor would be officially brain dead. Aso I said earlier..all the talk about creating width is pointless because Henderson and Can...only pass back or sideways and Firmino, Coutinho and lala all insist on playing it central within a 5 foot strip. May as well go to 3 at the back again....
The whole team did. The ref never counted 10 yards etc so someone could legally stand in front of ball. Lfc decided it was a slow free and formed a wall... half formed... and then basically the ref waited til thry were ready to strike it. A quick free when a player comes 30 yards you take it is a bit rich but it was obvious ref didn't show lfc the whistle meaning slow free. Ergo it's our own fault and from now on you stand on ball til you know what ref is instructed The rules are clear if they say quick free you can be within a yard, have it hit you and have no consequences
Does anyone not realise that this could be the first time that we've lost four home games on the spin since 1923? You may have missed that...
