Starting to think they're trying to dupe potential buyers. How much is the club worth? Niasse was £13.5m at last count, Markovic was £20m and Ranochia another £20m. Next up is an aged Veron. Asking price is £150m. Err. Aren't they all on loan? Next!!!
I was actually saying to a couple of people a few weeks ago, has Robertson actually improved in any way since we signed him? I think he's very poor defensively, good going forward but as I said I really aren't sure if he's come on at all since signing for us.
And that's why I'd be playing him and Tymon in the same team. We'd have the full left side sorted. Robertson's best attributes have always been his attacking and crossing, so why is he playing left back? Makes it even more bizarre that Burnley are signing 2 players for the same side with the same strengths and weaknesses.
The point - I thought - I was quite clearly making was he played his 129 games in the ****test Inter side in living memory.
I think he has improved for sure, I don't think he's become the 'Gareth Bale' many of us hoped he would, and maybe it's those initially hoped for high standards which leave some people a tad disappointed, but he is certainly good enough to be first choice LB for any PL team in the bottom half, and maybe some top half teams too, and certainly deserves to be in the PL rather than the Championship. He's more than good enough for a team aiming to come 17th
I'm not convinced he is actually a good enough left back for the PL to be honest, ability wise good enough to be playing in the PL yes I would agree, but I'm not actually sure what position. Maybe you can get away with him at wing back in a 5-3-2.
Not watched Italian football for a long time........but is a ****ty Inter side, a better side than we are currently ??
Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko Andy Robertson move from Hull to Burnley STILL waiting on Hull finding a left back. He's not overjoyed about that ...
Do I have word blindness or doesn't it say what the clause is? They've just - seemingly - randomly said a million.
