Where do you all stand on the Ulloa situation? It seems to me that unlike Payet, he has genuinely done as asked by the club and now it seems they have done a U turn right when he had expected them to keep their word. You could say he has 18 months left on his contract, he should do as he's told and sit on the bench but clubs are quick to complain (and sometimes they have every right) about a lack of respect and selfishness from players so it surely has to work both ways. For him to rant like that after Leicester fans have nothing but good words to say about his character, must mean he has been lied to and is extremely pissed off. I think he'd be spot on for us and if we can tie it up, he may just have that fire in his belly and a huge point to prove.
Leicester are adamant they will not sell to another Premier league club. Apparently, Galatasaray are in for him now so he could be heading over there. Regardless if he has been lied to or not, I don't think he should be taking it to social media.
Neither do I mate but I wonder if some of them spend so much time on there they see it as the logical next step. I wouldn`t be surprised if some them think they really are friends.
I'm behind him 100% he's been happy to be a bit part player from the bench under one of the least adaptive, least open to change managers he'll ever play under and hasn't grumbled. He should be aloud to play in which ever league he fancies from the offers that meet his valuation. If I was him I'd dig my heals in and run my contract down and cause some grief. Would anybody here let your present employer tell you what country you can work in once you've left their employment? Of course not, that would be ridiculous. His club have shown him no respect so they can't cry like bitches when the player doesn't show it back.
Good player, worth way more than 5m in the current climate. Wanting a forward of this quality that cheap just ain't going to happen fella.
What he has done, in terms of the social media, has worked before. Daren Bents rant at Spurs eventually got him here. By tomorrow night we will know if this try has work as well as Bent's did.
True that and they`re not as desperate to sell as we are to buy although he does seem to be working on that. Did we up the bid to 7m? I`ve been looking all over the net and read so much conflicting guff it`s ridiculous. We`ve virtually got buyers for Coates and Lens. Come on Short, make yourself ****ing useful.
I think 10m is a fair price for the player. factor the selling to a rival if I was Leicester I wouldn't let him go to a Prem club for less than 12m. We'd probably get away with the installments we're so fond of. Get it done Ellis.
See Sunderland are making progress. There's no way that we would have seen Leicester as a rival last season. I don't see why Leicester would sell to a team below them given the position they are in, they are going to try and find anyone else first. I'm not sure they aren't going to hold him until the summer, we're not talking about big money here.
Ha we haven't progressed, just a reality check for the champions. With all three relegation spots open to anyone they're not out of the **** yet. It would make sense for them to wait to the summer. If I was the player and wanted to stay in the league i'd dig my heels in and be prepared to wait till the summer. I think you're right, I think there's a big chance he'll be staying put this season so as Tiz said, we must have a plan b here.
We should offer 6m and make it public tell Leicester we want a answer by 10am tomorrow. If the answer is no move on. We will probably end up with Kone from Everton.
