It's a fire sale. Nothing to do wit squad improvement or bettering positions. Anyone of value with a bid is being flogged. It's tragic and I'm genuinely furious. None of this is for anything but saving money. How can you say we aren't a selling club!? Ok not prepared to even listen to the dross that it's to raise cash for squad improvement. We needed more not sell one buy a worse one or no one at all. It's tragic. We've gutted the teams strengths and added some we wanted anyway as extra.
Hahaha Maybe im being to laid back with it all, but id rather wait and see what our squad is after 11pm tomorrow before i wet my knickers
Why the obsession with wetting knickers on here? Feel like the people who use it feel really smug about it.
Don't know anything about this lad from Watford. Marc Wilson appears to be almost finished as a player, but maybe we can give him a shot in the arm. Gradel is a talented lad but terrible injury problems. Sorry to say that it appears to be £30m in the bank and a quick fish around the bargain bin with a few loose coins afterwards. Hope I'm wrong.
I don't think anybody is making out they are world beaters. We just don't want them sold because we are short of players and they are our best players. You make out that if we buy a lot more players no matter how rubbish they are you'd be happy with selling our best players. We should be keeping onto our best players and buying more good players but I see no sign of that being our strategy. We had got promoted to the Premier League and if we'd brought in MS then and bought 6/7 reasonable players we would have got a base to progress further.
Transfer Centre Live @TransferCentreL 5m5 minutes ago More Hull City are close to signing winger Max Gradel on loan from Bournemouth. Shows how much these transfer sites know!
another name.. Hull City also showing an interest in former Sunderland midfielder Alfred N'Diaye - currently at Villarreal.
Has anyone actually considered that the players might be asking to leave and therefore simply getting the best price possible for them? dont get me wrong, Ehab is directly responsible for any player wanting to leave. on Robbo, if he is to go I would be on the phone to Klopp and asking for 1 for 1 swal with Sahko. They want rid, he is worth £15m, can play Cb or Lb, add a £15m release clause to his contract on relegation, and would be a decent deal.
Just read about the guy from Watford , famed for a powerful shot , but he has about 10 goals in 10 seasons , so he just misses a lot but really powerfully..
He's pretty ****ing terrible. Hopefully he's better for us. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not excited by Gradel either. Probably an improvement on Markovic, but I didn't think he was that good at Leicester or Leeds.
How long before we change him to being able to lean back and hit the ball at least 10 feet over the bar?
It always is. Remember the excitement over the late signing of Ben Arfa. Hope we keep Robbo and get some players in that get us over the line in the survival stakes and not be prima donna wastrels. Be glad when its over and we can back to the nitty gritty.
