Returning players

We only have one player injured over the age of 30. This misconception about age in our squad is irritating as hell. We're playing kids all over the shop and getting just as many injured.

 

Providing we can manage Cattermole and Kirchoff properly (couple of sub appearances to build up their fitness etc rather than throwing them in for 90 minutes at the weekend) we may stand a chance of surviving.

The midfield is absolutely key to the balance of the team, so far this season we've had players who just aren't good enough, Rodwell, McNair, Pienaar etc hence why we are in the position we are, pressure on the strikers to finish every chance as we don't create much and take the pressure of the defence from just being bombarded constantly. If we can get Cattermole and Kirchoff back in and fit... we'll actually be able to compete with the majority of teams in the league rather than just getting trampled on which has happened most games this season.

Wouldn't mind seeing Gooch come back and play a bit part role along side Catts and the Hoff, think he could make an alright player alongside some decent players.

 

Its ageing me waiting for them to get fit.
