I don't like the cut of Palmeri's gib. He looks like a frat boy.

<laugh> Trump wouldn't have this trouble negotiating with them. He'd just make them an offer they couldn't refuse.

How do you know that he doesn't not know?

That's the thing with Twitter. You never don't know who knows what. Know what I mean?

He doesn't get much game time. He is usually a sub.

He's scored is it 3 goals in his last 3 games? If Sparky can say that Crouch is "on fire" then we can say the same about Gabbi :emoticon-0110-tongu

He has only played 515 minutes of football in serie A whilst scoring 3 goals. That is better than a goal every 2 games.

Obviously with such a small data set you can't draw much from it but you certainly can't criticise his lack of goals this season as the few minutes he has played he has been productive.

You want a striker who scores goals? You sir are far too spoiled.

I thought we judged our targets by personality as well as talent? If we got a striker that scored goals, he just wouldn't fit in.

A certain dollop of common sense in that. I know it's not guaranteed but I consider in Romeu, Bertrand and Yoshi we have good examples of how regular games helped them become better players. You do however have to posess that basic spark of ability of course.

I remember us hearing from Stuttgart that Romeu wasn't good, but he's worked out excellently for us.

It's all a cover story so Les can blame then Italians and Kat can keep her cash and be rich ever after. Honestly.

Absolutely. Romeu is now better than Wanyama was. Bertrand, I never had qualms about. I think he'd been a Saints player for about two minutes [ok I exaggerate] and I thought he was better than Shaw. Yoshi, this season, has taken a major step forward.

Bearing that in mind, I've always had a good opinion of Florin Gardos, and I suspect that game time will bring his level up. Can we risk it though.?

Some guy/guest on talksport saying that Gabby is quality and an attacking mid if anything. Just thinks he's been unlucky with tactics/ squad utilization to date. They also made a note on Puel being tactically astute.
