Mags have had a £16m bid for McCarthy rejected apparently. Still like us to go in for him and Jagielka with Kone part of the deal but all seems relatively quiet this window on Kone leaving.

Yeah we used to laugh our bollocks off at agent Ashley, seems to have learned a lot and actually supports the club financially.. ****bag short is just screwing us into the ground.
Aye but I doubt we'd have said that 3 or 4 years ago! We're just becoming a laughing stock. Also Ashley never installed himself as chairman. He's awesome donuts in the time but hes akways sat away from the football side and had someone else do that.

Swings and roundabouts. Ashley was a right bastard back then and Ellis Short was investing money into our club.
Hopefully it doesn't happen. That will only cause more misery for the club to deal with and it isn't going to help us in any way. He's trying to sell the club, he wants to go but these things take time.
Arouna Kone rumoured now. Hasn't kicked a ball all season, out of contract at the end of the season and at 33 he fits the bill quite well.
