    Tomlin supposedly out with sickness...

People can bang on about how much Lansdown and Johnson love this club, but if that was the case, why are we being so flagrantly lied to by these people.

Over the years to its gone from bad to just plain ridiculous. From players such as Brooker and co getting done for assault, inner lockeroom differences leading up on field fights between Carey and Orr on several occasions, GJ ridiculing players he didn't like such as Trundle, fighting with McIndoe, Millen caught out on the p**s with players after a loss, Lansdown being completely inept at getting a stadium built on an old land fill site, giving his completely in inexperienced son a job he should never have been close to, LJ a job he wasn't ready for then a contract extension he never earned, oversees the worst record in history, defends it and now one of the most talented players we have see at this club in years is supposedly sick. When in all honesty we know full well he isn't interested in playing for LJ just as Freeman isn't, just as many others clearly aren't!

I would rather know the truth and they just be honest with the thousands who plough their hard earned money into this club, no matter how bad it might seem, I'd prefer we were just told the truth.

We are becoming a circus and a laughing stock.

Why are they lying about it? It's been spoken a few times this week that he's ill.

And you believe that? You don't think it has anything to do with he has no respect for the manager.

Seems fairly honest about the situation to me here?? He clearly says he has massive respect for the manager!

Can I ask, have you ever played football at any sort of competitive level?

Frankly I can sympathise totally with your sentiments.
Not much seems to work out with Bristol City these days, and even when we do find a manager who can lead us to success we fire him on the strength of a poor start (when the money was not made available for him as soon as the season ended so he might have got some good deals).

But we have what we have, so if we are to continue wearing the red of City we must get behind the club and support them.
All the way to League 1.

Just when we thought the club were doing the right things and that all of the circus acts of the past were consigned to history, we get the smug twat of an owner defending the indefendable (Manager) and now this latest story shows we haven't changed a bit.

I personally don't know what to believe, but I'm more likely to believe the official line coming from AG than some rumour posted on these boards!
That doesn't mean I'm happy with things ATM by the way.

Am I missing something here? Tomlin was reported ill during the week.
As to the rest of the opening statement is just rubbish. If you don't like Lansdown fair enough but to blame the new build on him when we've all been explained what's happened <doh>
Also anyone on here who owns their own business please don't leave it to your kids <laugh>
