True but conversely we outplayed Hull comfortably (and lost on pens), Forest only just managed to beat us despite some highly dubious decisions going against us (2 pens against and playing most the game with 9 players). They are both games we played well in. Oxford game doesn't count as it wasn't our team it was our reserves. That leaves three games and yes they are a concern but we still have a decent gap to 3rd.

I thought there were obvious hints in the last week or so from Rafa that we would be playing a weakened team. I think the fans knew what what they were going to see if unless they were complete idiots, which a lot of them probably are to be fair.
Well, in fairness to Chippy, I think it caught him by surprise as he was saying he thought we'd put out a strong team...but on the other hand...
Did we lose 1-0 or 2-1 yesterday, no were we playing a team mid table in a lower league yes, do we manage without any of Ritchie, Shelvey or Gayle no. A few injuries and we are cannon fodder, the players are pathetic some don't even get out of first gear, not coincidence how McClaren is doing well at Derby. As for the Hull game we missed plenty of chances, seem to have a problem scoring goals if Gayle doesn't score (odd exception like Rotherham). If you weren't embarrassed yesterday then I'd worry, same after Stevenage 2011, Exeter whenever that was and Hereford 1972.
I'm over yesterday already. Big snub to the fans who made the trip though, they should be refunded. Losing to the underdogs is no big deal now. Not like Hereford. My blood still boils at the mention of their name.
Not in the same league as Hereford. Yesterday was primarily our reserve team. Hereford was our first team. Oxford are in the league below us. Hereford weren't even in the top 4 leagues. As I said, no comparison between the two results, none at all.
Crap performance and disrespectful team to put out but we move on, it's gone now. Obviously it's frustrating that Rafa can't seem to own up to his mistakes, or perhaps just be honest and say he didn't give a **** about the cup. No point waiting for an apology though because it won't be forthcoming. Same old club policy from what I can see.
Me too. A few teams got burned for fielding a weak side. And quite rightly so. Will the club refund us? Doubt it. On we go.

Last year they were in a league 3 leagues below us and sold their best player. It was an embarrassing result, as was all the result I pointed out. They are all embarrassing. Hopefully Rafa will now see that the vast majority of the players that played yesterday aren't up to Championship standard (excusing Berslar and the lad who played behind Mitrovic because they've just broke through).
