Was a ****ing cracking match...2 down at ht...mickey hazard making a great point about the magic of the cup and a great speech about ryan mason...a great response to ryan from the crowd...back to 2 -2 then down to 10 men through injury after 70 mins cos we had used our subs...then 3-2 down with 5 to go and then won it with virtually the last kick of the game...the crowd (both teams) were great...no booing or any **** like that when ht came or when we were 3-2 down ... (unlike the goons at Bournemouth or v Liverpool on day 1 of the season <whistle>)
Classic cup stuff...could well be the last ever cup game at the lane...what a fitting finale for the old girl.
It's the kind of match I and my daughters will remember for ever.

That was purely for you <laugh>
Great win for you tonight but what were Southampton thinking playing that team???
WTF were they resting them for???
    A cup final in 4 weeks <doh>
They aint finishing in the top 6 so won't be getting a European place so should have rested players for their league matches ... would be well unhappy if I was a saints fan tonight!

I thought it might be, but I never boo my team so that's a wum **** up :)
I think Southampton were still on a high/comedown from beating Liverpool. They should have played a full strength team, given the circumstances that you rightly point out. We could have scored double figures today. Congrats at scraping past a league 2 side and celebrating like you won da leeeg
    (that's just for you)

Great wheeze that was just missing 'jumpers for goalposts and isn't that a wonderful pipe and moustache being sported at the interval by the home captain'. Three cheers for Wycombe old boy! <whistle>

Well done in narrowly defeating the Real Madrid of Buckinghamshire, Quentin...just a shame you weren't there to witness it first hand ...but I guess that's no real surprise...and why your knowledge of football in general is very 'scratch the surface' ...comedy gold indeed :)

Think they might find Sunderland away a little harder than Real Wycombe.

  20. I have little doubt that we will, Skiddy.

Poch will probably take that fact into consideration by playing more of our better players, though. What do you reckon, Skiddy?

Do you think we will win that match, Skiddy? Do you have the stones to make a prediction on the score?
