I don't get your sense of superiority and righteousness because you some how think it's cool or novel to be devoid of any humanism.

To some degree I'm not as concerned about individual players leaving as I would have been under previous managers. Not because I'm naïve enough to think that losing talent doesn't matter, but more because I think we're evolving into a team where the style of our play is the real star.
Man U seemed to be dazzled by the one touch, high tempo passing game the whole team played. They were frustrated by the way we pressed and closed them down early and they didn't like the way our players ran at them with no respect for reputations.
Yes you do need quality players to play like that, but I think Silva will only bring in players who can adapt easily to that style.
The difference now is we have an effective playing style with less big names, rather than previously when we had a few (relatively) big names propping up a completely inferior playing style.
See what you say makes sense and isn't all high and mighty, arrogant and cocky.
I'd don't mind change. Just not all in a week. I'd rather do it in summer when time is on our side. Players leaving this late in the window leaves us very little time to bring in replacements. We need additions not just replacements.
