On Sunday a banner appeared on Ashton Gate stadium itself calling for Lee Johnson to be removed from the club after the Robins failed to beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Saturday. The defeat marked a club record as the club suffered their eight successive league defeat. The lack of wins has seen more and more fans wanting see Johnson get the sack. The situation lead to the majority shareholder at City Steve Lansdown issue a statement on Monday night, in which he made clear the manager still has the backing of the club. Despite this vote of confidence being made at the beginning of the week it appears some of the fans are still convinced action should be taken. Last night more banners, in a similar style to Sunday's, appeared around BS3 all stating 'Johnson out'. The landlord of the Three Robins, the nearest pub to the club's stadium, tweeted a collage late last night showing each of the banners. Maybe some notice would be taken if these were attached to a light aircraft and then flown over Guernsey ?

absolutely correct the only people to take part in these "polls" are the losers, it is not just these 3 go back over the years and difficult to find many that correct

I don't like these banners because I don't actually believe that they help. Wouldn't it be better for the players to see banners saying 'Cmon LJ and the boys - you can do it!' I do believe that we need a new manager, but I'd be just as happy if LJ turned it around. I just want it turned around.
