Great game to watch and to win (on the night). What it says to me is that MS can put out 2 different competing teams from the squad he's got, which is a first as far as I can recall. We were all crying about him playing the reserves but this performance was as good as any we've seen.

i know it's unlikely but at present we are 12 points behind the top half! That's not too much to catch and like I say it's unlikely but at present we are 300/1 to finish top half! Might have a cheeky 10 quid on that!
Maybe those that say there is no difference from when Phelan was in charge can finally see. We may still go down but its going to be a lot more fun to watch.
We beat a good Man U side. We just stopped their mega (17 games?) unbeaten run. With a team of odds and ends and bit part players.
Just been speaking to a Man U supporting mate of mine who said the same thing until I reminded him that that's only because we didn't allow you to settle or play.
I remember what Silva said in one of his first interviews... he wants the players to be calm, no matter who they play.... it was apparent from the first game.
just a note from a pool fan don't know if Silva will keep you up but having seen both your games against Chelsea & tonight you at least have some hope. There , from an outsider viewpoint , seems more organisation & belief in your team than previously.
