Well he is doing better than jose who alreqdy knows the league has unlimited funds and the worlds costliest player and i bet he will finish above him and in the top 4 along with Chelsea Arsenal and Liverpool.

Case in point.....Chelsea's 2012 Champions League win.
We had a depleted defence (due to Ivanovic getting his 3rd yellow and JT being sent off like a fanny in the Semi final),.

We could have gone into that game and attacked with gusto, but make no mistake, against that Bayern side, we would have lost.
And instead of Chelsea being Champions of Europe, do you think people would be sat here going "oh remember in 2012 when Chelsea lost the CL final to Bayern, weren't they really plucky and ambitious going forward in attack......and losing 3-0."?

    No.

United have issues of their own.
A whopping 2 points separate United and City. And i wouldn't bet on United finishing outside the top 4 mate.
Unlike Pep, Jose knows how to utilise the personnel he has to get a result.
Once they start sticking away their chances, they will come good.

City on the other hand, need 4 new players in their back 5.
Only Stones will keep his place this summer I am willing to bet.

And we havent even touched on peps decision to drop Englands No.1 Keeper and replace him with Claudio Bravo.......Well done Pep <applause>

As an Arsenal fan, he is used to looking at managers with nostalgic, red tinted specs and ignoring the glaring flaws in their management styles <whistle>

I hardly said Jose spent more,he is better placed, you do have more financial power than city right?Jose has no aversion to spending unless limits are imposed and even then we would hear about it..You guys with red tinted glasses do know that you have the costliest squad in the whole wide world and that too by quite some margin right?

700m+ on average every player is 30m+

So yes i am right when i say jose can get anyone he wants who can be got and he broke the world record fee for that as well and despite being the most experienced in england after wenger he is as i said behind pep guardiola and outside the top 4.

Heck pog6,you win you are 6th and you lose you are 6th and you have been 6th for a while 6thbanter incoming.

In fairness that probably needs to be judged based on the expectations of the club. If Klopp managed top four one season and won the FA Cup the next that would be the most Liverpool have achieved in a decade.

Just shows the gap that has opened up between Utd and Liverpool over the last ten years

Lets put this into perspective a bit. Firstly, Pep spent the second highest (after RM) while he was at Barcelona and it was an extortionate amount.

It was a 2 club league BUT it hadnt always been. In fact before Rijkaard, Barca hadnt won the league since 1999 iirc with others challenging RM for the title. Barca had also only won 2 CLs up to that point.

La Liga had a **** of a lot more depth than the Prem did during Pep's time at Barca. Midtable sides were proving successful (in sheer numbers) in the UEFA Cup. And what made La Liga so competitive is that every season there would be a rotation of teams making the UEFA cup and getting to the QF/SF etc. Not to mention the fact Barca under Pep would anhialate the world's best Europran clubs along the way to winning the 2 CLs so it wasnt exactly a ride in the park.

Nothing that's happening at City undermine's Pep's achievements. **** happens. He's moved to a new league with a squad that doesn't suit his style against opposition teams and managers who are seasoned in the English game. It's a new challenge and that's it. Far too early to judge him or write his obituary column.

Well,Klopp took over midseason of a Liverpool in turmoil, turned it around into positivity to reach league and europa cup finals while finishing higher than where he started.

Having a net spend of zero he is 3rd in the league.

LVG took over and got top 4 while doing nothing else of note in terms of style of play or transfer market nous though ofcourse its not too necessary with all the money..

Does the 50% win rate really matter?Early season there were reports that moyes and lvg both had higher point totals than jose at a point in this season..i think all these statistics are worth the same in terms of being informative.

    Get going.

Sure you were a man down

But otherwise people go like,do you remember chelsea winning the title in 2005 with record points?nah i dont want to,it was one of the most boring title wins of all time.

Do you remember Barca doing the treble? So many teams have done the treble but that team was something else a radical way of playing the game so easy on the eye,man they were good, that's what the neutrals will be like.

Well the difference is Pep wins,he wont be given time to practice a losing style whole season would he?So like you say its stupid to attact but if the man can find a way through to win collectively while having inferior players by playing pretty football,it uas to be applauded doesn't it?Football grew due to excitement and attacking football not for parking the bus.

    Get going.

    Ofcourse it does.

What you have to understand is that this is not about Pep. Bod has an irrational chip on his shoulder about La Liga despite never watching it <laugh> Pep merely symbolises as the figurehead for his frustrations.
