Marco Silva believes sickening injury to m/fielder Ryan Mason will galvanise his squad in relegation battle. "We play for Ryan." “We did very well at Chelsea, especially in the second half. We controlled the game after the break.” “I was pleased with the reaction of the team. It was a good performance and we need to build on that against Manchester United.” “It is a different competition and a different test, but we will try to get the job done and win the game. That is our aim.” Marco Silva admits there's an interest in Genk's Leon Bailey but says it won't be an easy deal to do. Omar up next... “I’ve settled in at the Club fine and everything is good. The atmosphere here is very good and everyone is positive.” “I was happy to get my first game in the Premier League. It was a tough game, but there were plenty of positives for us to take.” “We have many good players here and, if we continue to work hard, I believe we can achieve our goal of staying up.” “I saw the first leg at Old Trafford and the team was unlucky to lose by two goals in my opinion.”
"but we will try to get the job done and win the game. That is our aim." What a refreshing change from were little old hull city we will try and keep it tight and limit how many we lose by.
Agree. Under SB I think the players felt they'd lost the game before they'd even crossed the white line.
Love the positivity that MS gives out .. and I'm sure that is passing on to our players .. the more I hear and watch this guy the more I believe in him .. no bullshit about the fella just simple positivity
Possible team according to HDM, I think they got Hudd and Clucas the wrong way round, but doesn't look to shabby.
Omar speaks very good English, I like the way he comes across. Looks a carm lad.. Pretty good Player also... Him and Elmo Down the right looks quite Formidable. Would free up Elmo further up the pitch....
Elmo isn't good enough technically to be a RW in the premier league. His main attribute is that he's got good enough fitness to run up and down the pitch as a wing back. He can't take on a man by dribbling, he takes a big touch past them and sprints after it. He also never cuts inside to score, and his crossing isn't good enough. RWB is the only position he's capable of. The fact that he doesn't even get game time with Egypt is proof that he isn't good enough.
Ah yes, our traditional hoops - Hull City Bumblebees - I support the name change, Hull Bumblebees is marketable, just like the Mighty Ducks.
