Should maybe do that as a protest at the Liverpool game seen as it's nearly sold out. 18k people waving a white (or off white depending on your choice of washing powder) flag should get some attention.
I feel a bit like this. We've only really seen him at his best for 6 months or so. Hoped he'd stay till the summer
****ing ridiculous isn't it? We could go and spend £30m on a player tomorrow for all we know. I mean we wont, but we could...
Pretty livid if this goes through, doubt you can replace those goals for £10m. I'll reserve opinion to the end of the window though.
Diame got plenty of money for not playing for us much as well. Let's hope we aren't bringing in any more people ready to be crippled.
I don't get why people are happy about this. The player who has given us our cutting edge for six months is going to Burnley. Forget what you think he is worth, but what is he worth to us? He is our top scorer and top provider of goals, why would you sell him? If a manager wants to get rid of him I would question that managers sanity. Silva obviously doesn't want rid as he is sensible. Who cares if 10m is good for Snodgrass, it pretty much relegates us which is going to cost us way more than 10 million.
Let's hope this kick starts a bidding war, squeeze a few more quid out of them. Or with ehab in charge, probably knock it down to £6m
You keep saying that, but that's what we got and we should have got more. I'll make a more simple analogy, so you can understand. A 20 pack of Marlboro Gold costs around £9.50. You go to a newsagents and ask for a pack and they tell you the price. You go 'Nah, they're not worth that, mate' and you go to several newsagents and off-licenses and the price is roughly the same. Eventually, your mate comes to you and says he's selling a 20 pack of Marlboros for a fiver and you buy them. That's what the Allams are doing. That's what they've made the club - the bootleggers of the Premier League.
There's too many being being blinded by hope. Hopefully this latest act of "not selling" will encourage a few more to wash the tints from their specs.
we couldn't go to any other PL cub or even most championship clubs and buy there best player for £10 million, so why are we selling ours for such a low amount. Think it'll destroy a bit of team morale when you see your best player leave, especially when you replace them with foreign loans who dont give a toss
Ehab has maybe been watching Southamptons model sell players before contracts run out for decent money and get a manager who can bring talent in cheap
Can't get a bidding war, we've accepted 10m, they'll all be accepted, just means Snoddy can earn more.
If that's the case then say we want £15m and they can have ferriby. **** me, they do this by moving the goalposts when trying to sell the club so why not do it now
