I don't have the arguing energy that Syd has but I'd just like to say he's spot on on this occasion. Again, ridiculous. What do we actually gain from it? £10m looks nice but it's just a bit of text on a screen. It means absolutely nothing.
Then I can safely say you're a silly ****. 'In the real world' is where Burnley spend more than £10 million on a Championship midfielder with no PL experience, not how much CityCalv thinks football players are worth according to his standards.
I guess I'll take the backhanded compliment. I'm more worked up and annoyed about the transfer than anything being said in here though.
Nixon's said that Snoddy wants a lot of mony. Therefore, we could keep him if we offered him the best deal. Would people on here do that?
I'd just like to thank Robert Snodgrass, most sincerely, for the way he has repaid Hull City. The Club looked after you for, what - 14 months, when you were injured, with what looked to be a possible career-ending injury. THANKS A LOT, YOU UNGRATEFUL TWAT.
Yes because we need to stay up. It's moot though. I don't think he'd stay even if we offered the same as other clubs.
I think it's fairly obvious we won't , it would of happened by now , not to worry I hear he is due in court on Tuesday and the club expects him back in the afternoon
If we can't afford or want to give Tymon a contract, there is no way we will with Snoddy, he'll want double what hes on. 60k-80k. We don't need to offer him new contract though I am certain the same clubs will bid 10 million in the summer if we go down.
Forget which motd pundit said these words " for Hull to stay up they must keep hold of Snodgrass" , little ray of hope that I have left is that MS is going to work a miracle, just wonder whats his take on all this.
As someone else said on here the other day, if he's done well enough for clubs to come in for him then he's paid us back. And the club have completely let him and others down this season. They thought they were getting a proper crack at the PL and it's been a farce from day one. A complete waste of time. Why would our better players stay when they can go and play at a serious club who can field a full team and subs every week?
Yeah, helping us get promoted, then spending 6 months carrying us on his shoulders - or on his left boot - to keep us in touching distance of safety despite being an absolute rabble. How dare he now look to secure his own future.
Not surprised in the slightest, absolute ****ing disgrace of a club yet again, I called it on Saturday/Sunday and I am absolutely ****ing furious, won't be going to any more games unless the money is spent. And I guarantee you we get **** all back in terms of players. Another brilliant BRITISH talent gone for absolutely **** all.
It's interesting to gauge the reaction. I assume he wants a 3/4 year deal on at least £60k a week. I wouldn't give him that in a month of Sundays. It's a big financial gamble considering his age and knee. Very sad to see him go, shame he wouldn't stay till the summer
I have said this many time on here, why does it matter which 11 players are on the field.....why would you stop going just because we have sold a player ????
Honestly WHO cares what a buying club gets back for him or from him for that matter. What HCAFC fans should care about is what losing him at this point in time means to City for the rest of this season. They should also care about how we fill the void he, and the others (sold and injured), have left in the squad.
I know, bless him. Lord alone only knows how he's got by on 40k a week for these past 3 and a half years.
You're right to a degree, but playing football to the best of his ability is his job. I feel he owed us more than that.
