Hello hello I'm back again, the competition that is about as popular as a Gary Glitter record at a school disco, but its the quarter final stage so things are starting to hot up and the prize money is £50K for the winners a sum not to be sniffed at. So its off to Field Mill to take on the Stags who are ridding high in the form league unbeaten in their last five games winning three and drawing two so it will be a tough game. It's another chance for our fringe players to get some game time and a chance to impress ahead of Saturdays glamour tie so although I'm not traveling north in the fog I will be following the game the best way I can and hoping we can continue our remarkable unbeaten run and carry on our march to Wembley
Mansfield came from behind to beat Cambridge 3-1 on Saturday bringing the latter's 8 match unbeaten run in L2 to an end. Prior to that they had a run of 4 consecutive clean sheets. A tough game in any event, but given we want a fully fit squad available for Saturday, we just can't afford any injuries.
Get your boots ready Ron we don't want injuries can you pick up another ten players on the way .I don't care if you find them in the pound shop or the pub or the bookies.as long as they fit into a wycombe shirt thatl do for me.
Just got you SOS Rocky. Can you arrange for a helicopter to pick me up at my place. Should just about make it. I pulled a muscle in my calf recently and haven't kicked a ball for a couple of weeks so I might have to be subbed after a couple of minutes. But anything to help.

PENALTY to Mansfield. Handball by Jacobson. 0-0 #MNFvWYC GOAL - Matt Green converts the spot-kick. 1-0 #MNFvWYC
The penalty came when Benning's cross looked harmless but skidded awkwardly; JJ adjusted his body to chest it but ref spotted an arm. Blackman went the right way but there was too much power on the penalty from Green.
