Having seen the replay, it's not a red in my opinion, but going in like that was just careless.

Xhaka is so f-----g dumb its unreal,as if we are not short enough in midfield already.

 

I thought it was a yellow personally, but it was a stupid tackle.

 

We've got Elneny and Coquelin but 4 games with Xhaka will be tough.

 

The way he dived in was so wild and out of control - both feet left the ground - means a red card was correct.

Did you see the replay? It wasn't wild and it wasn't completely out of control. It's a definite yellow card, but not a red, for me. You see worse tackles than that all the time.

Yes and it showed both feet leaving the ground by quite a margin.

 

You must have seen a different challenge from what I saw then.

 

But he did not go into him with studs. His feet had gone back to ground and he had pulled his feet back to avoid going in studs first. It was a stupid tackle but a yellow would have been sufficient.
