    Southampton fan in peace,

Just seen that you have brought in 16 new players this summer! Wow.

It shows your determination to get out of League One and that you have good financial backing from the your board.

I can defiantely see you getting promoted this season because you have a really good squad for League One and some of the players you've signed are good enough for the Championship.

Your club is too big for League One and deserves to be higher in English football. You have a great stadium which I visited last season and you can get a really good atmosphere going.

Good Luck this season and hopefully see you in the Championship next season!

Cheers, mightyS, but won't you be hoping to be promotion contenders this season?

Most Southampton fans would be happy with mid-table but some unrealistic fans think that we're go up automatically!

We are two big clubs, as soon as you got relegated into league one you had the money to sign big players like lambert, now we have new owners and we have invested in players we look to go back were we belong

League One is toughest league to get out of i think. Now you have money to spend no doubt you will be in the Championship in the next two seasons.

Cheers, will you be spending much of the Oxlade-Chamberlain money from Arsenal before the window closes?

Probably some of it. But we had a good budget before the Oxlade-Chamberlain money so it will go towards the new training ground we're building. We've been linked to a couple of £5million+ players but i don't see us spending that much on one player.

I mean we spend £750,000 on Jack Cork! What a bargain!

Cheers MightyS - thought you looked very smooth against Leeds on Saturday.

Pity Markus Liebherr isn't with us to see his dream being fulfilled. A fine and focused benefactor.

It's a really good Championship this season, but I think Saints have a genuine chance of doing a Norwich.

So long as you take 6 points of Palace we'll all be happy. Any chance of giving us Richardson back?

Any chance you could just give us Lambert?? Really isnt worth the bother of keeping him on your books is he??

On a serious note I think he's one of the best Strikers outside the Top Flight and feel that had a Premiership team given him a chance (which they should have done by now) he could well be an England striker (much better than Crouch / Welbeck or Carlton Cole IMO)
