I watch him in the development squad and he is very good indeed (I know its hard to tell much from that though)
It would appear that the only way we're going to get the two from Fenerbahce, is if the deals are permanent transfer's according to the Turkish press
Mannion looks a real prospect, and Watson is having an outstanding season at Nth Ferriby on loan, we certainly have 2 good keepers waiting in the wings.
Sadly I think Watson will end up going the way of Mark Oxley. Our loss, but at least Oxley is the number 1 at Southend, having played for Hibs for a couple of seasons.
I see Ter Horst has gone on loan to York, it'll be interesting to see how he does at that level, leaves our kids team a bit light up front, but in the long term I doubt it matters if it helps the players & club.
The daily mail reckon one of this weeks signings is the olympiakos rwb omar , 500k loan fee agreed with a £5m future purchase
If it goes through , city will be his seventh club ( including loans) and he's only 25, doesn't appear to stay anywhere long.
I'll tentatively say that a Man City supporter has said he doesn't think he's good enough for the PL. Having worked with MS though is a positive.
Has anyone posted this? Hull City goalkeeper Allan McGregor to join Cardiff City on loan http://www.skysports.com/football/n...r-allan-mcgregor-to-join-cardiff-city-on-loan
I actually agree with you that it could go the same way as Oxley, but I have to say I have been impressed with him at Ferriby when I have seen him, he has certainly benefitted from is loan time.
McGregor has a potentially career ending back injury, he's been out with it for a very long time. He's a high risk liability on the wage bill now. Chances are he'll only ever make a handful of appearances anywhere from now. And besides he was at fault for a lot of goals conceded. The Marshall boo boys would be frothing at the mouth after a game or two.
Based on having seen him at Man City 9 years ago as a 16 year old? Wow he should be a professional scout.
The comment was that he never got the sense he would make it in the PL but may have improved. I did say it was a tentative assessment.
I contacted one of the guys who works for me in Amsterdam and asked him about van der Wiel "He's an Ajax bastard !!" was the reply I should've known better than to ask a Feyenoord fan about an ex-Ajax player
Hi guys, I see some conflicting opinions on McGregor (and Marshall ). Most of us Cardiff fans wish it was Marshall coming back but having seen McGregor play for you on a couple of occasions, I'm quite pleased to be linked with him. What are the positives and negatives of signing him? Goodluck for the season guys, stay above Swansea
