I would agree on the title

I cannot see them catch spurs either.... and of course it'll be tough to catch chelsea for 2nd when LFC win it :)

I hate to piss on your chips but we had 34 points after 21 games last season and 37 after 21 games the season before. We currently have 40 points :azn:

But credit to you for siding with the facts regarding 16 teams, including Liverpool, playing more long balls than United :1980_boogie_down:

Did you go to the open top bus parade to celebrate your draw at OT? Was there any of this by the players?

There's a long way to go yet, plenty of variables will decide the outcome.

On current form Spurs look great, but an injury to Kane or Ali and that could change.

Chelsea need to resolve the issue with Costa or that could yet derail them - despite the Leicester result - he's been key for them all season.

City look the most vulnerable, as they're playing with 10 men and no goalie at the minute.

Arsenal always find a way of getting 4th, without fail. I don't see this season being any different.

Your lot haven't won a game yet in 2017, so need to find some form quick or risk falling away.

relevant.... utd were the only club told by their manager to stop celebrating like they won something before they actually had done this year.

if i can't comment on the rumbewhazzit cup you certainly can't given you are even less in it (as usual) that LFC!

    :)

Not really. City and Chelsea originally splashed silly money on players like Robinho. They wasted alot before they got the real deal in. Money didn't buy instant success. A lot of laughs happened from other clubs before they got there.

Eventually though they spent the money on the right players.

People said Chelsea and City would never be big clubs, you can't buy history. Few would call them small clubs that had money now, but that label stuck for a few years after they started winning.

If China get a significant number of high profile players they will start to get more exposure.

It won't happen overnight, but domestically their 1 billion plus native audience will slowly start watching domestic football instead of European. (That alone will hurt some European clubs)... Then Chinese football will play in Japan, Malaysia, Korea on the TV. If the players are just as big in China as Europe, China bares more significance to them.

I doubt people in Europe will ever turn off our own leagues to watch China, but we don't need to. Losing the revenue stream from the Asian countries will hurt the big teams. A lot of money flows in from Asia.

they won't ever as the chinese communist party has taken action.

or at least that the excuse given by the no name team who have been fake bidding on about 40 strikers round europe.

the fact is that revenue stream in asia is not actually that big yet. it has significant scope to grow in concert with the domestic games in the region.
