badly needs a stylist though.... not to worry though koeman will beat the nice football out of him quick smart... you'll see him diving in two footed v Liverpool just like his heros
Nope, he hasn't been formed out to a lower premier league sides while being replaced by an older player such as Klavan. Flannigan has #doneaspearing
You mean the lad who has 6 or 7 PL starts already this season? Yeah, he has been held back....Koeman out!
Most PL teams aren't #desperate enough to consider taking an Everton player on loan TBF any Everton players with #ambition should be looking for loan moves for the rest of the season so they can get used to having something to play for
yes it was an ideal start for the lad. maybe its like a bit of woodburn and the expectations just ratcheted up but hey. he's a 11mil player so that was always the case i suppose. Ideal way to get him and the scruffbag involved.
5 starts in 21 PL matches and 3 of those starts were when you were playing a 3 at the back and williams hadn't been signed yet and coleman was injured. Whilst i don't think Koeman is ostracising him, you can't exactly say he's been given a decent shot especially since he's been involved in 3 clean sheets in those 6 games and has then inexplicably been not played especially since you have only kept 6 clean sheets all season
holgate is 20 and a signing in. he's done ok for them. In fairness this is not a everybody has to play scenario. he's got to take his chances and he's done well when he's got them Davies is only 18. he's just made two starts so thats great for everton. How he continues with Gueye, schneiderlin and barkely about is the question. Lookman is a very big buy for a young player but also looked like he enjoyed helping out at the end. the most important fact is lukaku scored the first goal and everton actually carried it through this time. City are bereft of ideas and barry v zabaletta was hilarious!. zimmer frames at dawn. Cty need to move fast now or fact 10th in the table like chelsea.
I still think City will finish 5th or 4th providing they keep Aguero and Silva fit. De Bruyne was unplayable for the first couple of months of the season, so he may return to form. And as much as I hate the little ****, three years ago Sterling was the best young player in the country - I just cannot believe he's turned permanently ****. Summary - City have some fantastic players - they need not do a complete Chelsea of last season.
Sterling's best season was being carried by Suarez and Sturridge in #worldclass form It's the same story at City, he can do a job for them if KDB and Aguero are in top form, but if they aren't then he isn't going to #bethedifference
Holgate has been simmering away nicely since the day he was snapped up for the U23's from the grasp of first team football at Bournemouth
Yep and when he isn't in form we can drop him, whereas you're forced to play Lukaku no matter what #definitionofinsanity
they are shot and need confidence and that CM situation is not giving them any. aguero and de bruyne are vital but yeah their decent players are in the front 3 and the stuff all behind are absolutely shocking. the fact is i can see them losing points to any side in the prem while the rest of the top 6 SEEM at this point to be beating the rest left and right. So we will just have to see I guess. I just don't see a platform there right now to play off of.
So lets talk everton for a moment: where have the got to as the koeman era now gets close to on its way and ever loser of course to astro's predicted sack. GK: they look weak here, near LFC weak in fact. Koeman must be interested in getting a kpper RB: looking good. Coleman and holgate CB: oh dear. this needs urgent work. 3 at the back is designed in part to save williams legs imo. mori. jags.. LB: baines. great LWB not needing to chase back is ideal for the oap CM: two really fine signings in gueye (looking a bargain) and morgan the snide. young lad came through and then they have a few to purge too Attacking midfield (they play 4231 more than 352 so cal lthem wingers and ACM) Barkley continues to annoy and theres several wingers i'm not sure what they will do with. Striker: Lucky.... ermmm yeah him. It looks to me like everton will need to continue the young talent approach and get at least 3/4 new players this summer having finished 7th. a GK , couple of CBs and probably some wide player will have to be bought... big clear out coming i think.
Everton need to replace: Robles Baines Gibson Jagielka Deulofeu Barkley Kone Barry Valencia Stekelenburg and maybe Bolasie (depending on recovery)
