So Payet doens't want to play for West Ham, Costa having a strop with the Chelsea coaches. Maybe the clubs should make them train with the U21s until the end of their contracts if that is the players' wish. Athletic Bilbao did precisely this with Llorente. After a season in which he scoed many goals that helped Bilbao reach the EL final he wanted out. The club rejected his request so he spent the next 12 months on the sidelines seeing out his contract and then left for free and went to Juve. Sometimes it is good to see a club put its principles above cash. Manchester City this season have done it with Toure, and Southampton with Puncheon several seasons ago.

 

What is with city and this play out from the back crap! Is pep to arrogant to realise you just can't do it in the premier league?
