Costa is odds on to leave the chavs this January now. All that money lost last year now revealed and needing to find the new stadium, I can see them needing it.

Just been out on the razz and got a banging headache. Anyway what money lost? also we have abramovic mega bucks why would we need to sell to balance the books.

Is surprising though this story about costa coffee, it's a shame as he's a great striker. I'm glad he's given you guys some hope but he's probably not as important as mane is for you guys so i would be more worried there :p

    http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/10727644/chelsea-reveal-cost-of-jose-mourinhos-depature

"Chelsea’s accounts for the 2015-16 season reveal that despite a record turnover of £329.1m and a £49m profit on player trading, the fallen Premier League champions still managed to post a £70.6m loss."

And now you want to spend £500m+ on a new stadium.

yeah.... no not happening. hasn't happened for years.

costa will pay for one side of the ground though and a swap for llorente on the cheap will allow for it.

The amount of money spent by abramovic on Chelsea is incredible.I wonder how long a club can be sustained by the generosity of a single benefactor. Blackburn did extremely well as long as jack walker was prepared to bankroll the club. As soon as he was gone the club went into a permanent slide and never recovered.

Romans calmed down recently. Plus we have our 36 loanee players out that we can sell to bank roll us. At the end of it we'll just have to go to the FSG model of 0 investment into the club and sell our best players year on year :(

Well we've got a few more Brazillians on our book which is always good for the chinese market.

Also you managed to flog Ibe for 15m and Smith for 6m so i'm sure we'll be able to flog half our loanees at decent rates

Everyone should know the type of person Costa is with his attitude towards leaving Brazil for the Spanish national side. Declaring he felt more 'Spanish.' The bloke only cares about himself and doesn't care about what damage he causes around him.

Last season he was over weight and in a sulk over being trained hard by Mourinho. Conte supposedly told him to 'go to China' after a training ground bust up. So the bloke clearly doesn't like to be told what to do.

Which is strange seeing as the last three managers he had to work with are incredible tough people.

I'd take the mega money they offer and alongside the money you got from Oscar buy someone for big bucks.

All of which may be true, but let's be honest, the 'Decent bloke' kudos went out with the likes of Henry, Zola and Klinsman. Luis is an utter **** (though he is decent off the pitch) but I'd have him back in a flash.

Suarez was nasty on the pitch and had a bad streak. As a football off the field he was a professional. Never moaned when he was playing with utter ****. The bid came in and when it was refused he had his best season with ourselves. He earned his right for the move and we were paid well for it.
