Not that we need the money as we should already have them! Rather have player who wants to play for the club - like this new signing (sadly for chelsea): http://www.101greatgoals.com/videod...kus-first-visit-chelsea-school-trip-14668007/
means he can play in the premier league and other competitions for arsenal. without it, he would have had to go back out on loan next season.
Great news about Miyaichi as he's got the ability to make it in the prem. He is very fast and has a good cross, very Balesque in the way he takes defenders with pace with no fear. However, we need to keep Nasri as we need a creative central midfielder when Fabs goes. Ramsey and Wilshere are still too green to take over and Nasri is the only midfielder we have close to Fabs ability. I was thinking Arsh but he hasnt played there for us and Tomas Rosicky is not the same after injury.....
Not suggesting that he would be a direct replacment but does give us another option in wide positions, Nasri had half a good season last year, he really hasnt done that much in his time at Arsenal for one reason or another, would not be to bothered to lose him to city, if he refuses to sign a contract extention the he should be sold. Recon he will be moved on again when he fails to nail down a regular first team spot, 22 million is a fair price for him.

it would have been a shame if this Japanese kid got his permit rejected. He is quality. hope he brings some good fortune to yo lot.
My point is that he is not his replacment but is mearly one of a range of options that we have in wide positions that mean that the loss off Nasri gan be absorbed, it is probably thhe strongest area of the team. Nasri is a good player and i would rather that he stayed but his loss is not going to be as catastrophic as some people would have you believe, for every great game he has he has 2 medioce ones.
I disagree, we will be getting a player who wants to play for us and may be able to offer us more than half a season's worth of good performances.
Miyachi getting his permit makes signing Oxocube seem even less worthwhile. Maybe I've missed something and we're trying to beat the world record of pacey wide players under the age of 24...
I also dont think he is a direct replacement - Nasri's natural position is AM which he cant get because of Fabregas/Ramsey (he will step it up this year!) and Wenger just doesnt seem to play him there (different discussion). He is placed on the wing where we now have lots of players who are super fast and can do the role a winger is suppose to do (Arshavin, Walcott, Oxocube, Miyachi) - run by their defender and hit a decent ball in (of course this can be discussed with all our players but that is another discussion). So cashing in on Nasri is a good idea - rather than let him go for free I think.
