what that actually tells me as i read it that utd made a **** tonne of moeny and then spend it all on (bad) transfers for van gaal. They have obviously continued that trend for mourinho and will continue to do so til they hit a team that works or they go bust

Manchester United have triggered a clause in Marouane Fellaini's contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2018.

Fellaini signed a four-year deal with the option of a further year when he joined from Everton for £27.5m in 2013.

I think too it is good business for Everton. He must surely be worth £20m at current prices. No one else but Fellaini provides that specific donkey work for mourinho when it's needed. I suspect his only role would be to cut out headers from crosses or long balls shielding the back four.

True. People acting like Chelsea have dropped off a cliff after one game. This is the worst time to play them imo, they'll be out to prove another point. They lost to a revved up rival away from home, this happens. Probably like what will happen at Old Trafford on Sunday.

 

Losing to Bournemouth and not getting all the points may eventually cost the title,
except we beat united away, Chelsea at home,city away and Arsenal at home.
