Excellent performance, team looked well set up and kept their shape well. First goal was offside, and I think 1-0 would have been a great result. I thought Maguire/Meyler/Huddlestone/Tymon as well as Mason had very good games.
To be fair, I thought he spoke quite well, just uninspiring, which says a lot. But he really should not have been there, it was disrespectful.
Phelan can't say too much because he will still be involved in a compensation case with the club and it'll affect him legally if he starts ranting about the owners. He kept himself composed and spoke well.
Noticed it was " the keeper " , "the rightback " ...no names for the players he wouldn't pick . Very United-centric too .
Harry Maguire, Hudd and Robbo were great apart from mismatch height disparity for 2nd goal. All the others stuck at their task immensely. Marco will continue to improve us as long as we get three or four players in the next two weeks. And no more sodding injuries!
Reckon Marshall would play some lovely 1-2s with Snodgrass. Not sure they'd actually be able to do it and beat a man at the same time.
What the hell was Marshall doing? No keeper should be lobbed by a header!! Absolutely useless, hope he's sold in January!!
I tell you what, this team can really pass when they're allowed to. There were a few sublime periods when Man U were chasing shadows. That's an indictment against Bruce and Phelan who never allowed them to take the shackles off. Hi Ho Silva!!!
