Slightly harsh, though I think the second should have been parried to safety at least. The first goal was the fault of various players from Lynch for the stupid cross-field ball to Perch for failing to win a ball in the air he was favourite for (surprise) to Hall for not stopping the cross. The save from Ingram was a reasonable one.

You're probably right to be fair Wats. We were debating whether he should've caught it or not but it was practically point blank range.

Right I'm off out and going to this beauty ...

Enjoy Ninesy, with Belew and Slick this will be good. Without even remembering his birthday I've just had a medley of Bowie old and more recent on as I prepare the roast. Reminding me how great he was/is.

Are you dressing up for it?

Hope you enjoy - would love to be there too - over the years Gail Ann Dorsey was a fantastic base guitar player in his band.

Cheers Stan, it was brilliant. They played for over three hours. Slick and Belew were excellent, they're such talented guitarists and performers. There was no dressing up on my part and rather strangely no one else's either.

My apologies to everyone for taking for taking the thread off topic.

If ever ever there was a thread who needed to be hijacked it surely must be this one, another traumatic FA Cup exit who needs to be forgotten.

Thanks for sharing your Bowie experience, that must have been one fantastic evening. I had to settle for a Bowie documentary on the TV.

Lose by 1 - Home fans get £5 cash back + Free Chris Ramsey beany
Lose by 2 - Home fans get £10 cash back + Free Bendy Tony Figurine, (Can be moulded into virtually any position)
Lose by 3 - Home fans get £12 cash back + Free Box of Jimmy's Green Shoots tea each leaf signed by the man himself (patents pending)
Lose by 4 - All Fans get £15 cash back + Free pair Joey's Rainbow laces (I'll bet you ain't got a pair these beauties)
Lose by 5 - All Fans get a full refund + A signed copy of Mark Hughes autobiography 'I Charisma'
Lose by 6 - The club donates Jack Robinson to medical research, While Les & Chris drive everyone home from the game to assurances that were 'on the right track'
By any more and its a full refund plus all the freebies then Les donates his suit collection to the Nepalese workforce building the Qatar world cup. Personally while they are still building it. Preferably several hundred feet in the air. Tony will also appear in future at half times dressed only in a nappy and painted head to toe in orange. Well he did get Tango'd.
